https://rentry.org/BadEndOk, this was actually cathartic. Not anchoring it, for obvious reasons, but hey, if /nasa/'s rep wants to anchor it, feel free to do so.
There is also a continuation of this, involving a janny, but I felt like it took away from the general vibe of the story and lean too much into occult, as well as being maybe slightly too big of a twist, so I cut it from the final entry. If anyone would want to see it anyway, do gimme a shout though, not like it would be that long to write.
