I like Alien as a franchise but it feels like every single non-movie story is the same. Innocent space people out doing their thing. A Xenomorph finds its way into their group either as a facehugger or a stowaway. Everyone fucking dies but the hero makes some big sacrifice to kill it off, possibly killing themselves in the process. The movie stories are 90% the same but have more room to breathe so it feels different.
