If it truly is that damaging of stuff, and it does in fact exist and you're not bullshitting, and you're that petty of a person....then why bother with the blackmail? The purpose of blackmail shouldn't be to keep someone quiet, it's to extort money or sexual favors from them
or to let them know you're capable of having them killed at any time but if that's true then blackmail is just a formality for you and you have some serious criminal pull. Just fucking release it and destroy them, you've already shown to be prepared to do it.
