Know what sucks even more? Being willing to pay but the author has little to no interest in writing the story. Once upon a time I'd have paid out the nose for a continuation to the Cold Air, Hot Blood duology; I still want to see the Miyuki bad end done by the original author, and now I have the depressing feeling that Auntie's Little Secret might be on indefinite hiatus.
There's probably a bunch more old ones I can't think of.
