I think the reason for people being mad at her talking about school is because autists have recently "learned" that having memories about school means "you have peaked in high-school" and that's a very bad thing. Doing a "bad thing" is against the rules, and things that are against the rules anger the autist.
The even think that if your memories are about how much you hated high-school for some reason.
