>>83768889There has been plenty of good anime in the last 5 years, the thing is that nobody talk about them because at that time people just saw Kimetsu no Yaiba, JJK and more, actually this is worse than you think that people actually take recommendations from Gigguk and other stupid "anime experts" and THEN watch a show. People don't bother anymore going to the anichart to see if a show it's interesting or not, then you have studio simps like Mappafags thinking they will do something amazing when the last good show of them was Sakamachi no Apollon 10 years ago.
Also it doens't help that western weebs are among the worst fan ever.
