This is the primary reason why men get into vtubers, streamers, etc. in the first place - they intuitively realise that the effort to be made exceeds the expectancy value and it is only 'temporarily embarrassed gigolos' who keep being invested in it.
Don't get me wrong - I'm not defending people for serving as condom money ATMs for whores who pretend to be girlfriends on stream and then get fucked by their boyfriends/husbands afterwards (i.e. literally every vtuber out there), I'm merely saying: these people aren't exactly 'missing out' on something, because there is nothing out there for them in a liberal, late capitalist, high-tech dystopia.
