And I’ve looked at other people and said “why them? Why couldn’t I make it as far as they did?” But it’s not their fault, they rolled the dice and more often than not worked harder or pushed the right buttons and for many reasons they got what they deserve. Over time a lot of these people became my friends and so it became only natural to be happy for them and worry less about how I compare and focus on whatever success I can achieve doing things my way, as big or as small that is.
BTW when I was designing my model someone close to me said I should start the design over, because it might “filter” people and get in the way of my growth, but I said “if this design filters them than they were never meant to be with me in the first place, I’ll just worry about making exactly what I think is cool even if it means not being as successful”
