I thought maybe it's because youtube got more aggressive against firefox users, but using the extension to disguise firefox as chrome didn't do anything
I saw some advice to enable the force mp4 format setting in the youtuber enchancer extension and it has seemed to work so far though I haven't watched enough streams yet to say with confidence.
