>>44110947>so getting noticed (I'm saying noticed) by girls is numbers poison for the guys? That's not it otherwise Roberu wouldn't have succeeded, Kamito wouldn't be one of the most popular notVtubers in JP and half of the higher echelon of Nijisanji wouldn't have succeeded.
Tempus has a more structural problem: they were born with a "borrowed" audience made of the Hololive EN fanbase willing to give them a chance and the EOP Holostars JP fanbase finally getting catered to with a branch for themselves.
Tempus didn't have to do ANYTHING to get that audience, it came baked in with their debut in the same company of the most sucessful branch of english speaking vtubers in the world bar none.
For fuck sake, the people "outside the garden" tried early on to destroy them on the quality of their models, only for a ragtag bunch of shitposters and memesters to lift them up to the highest heaven with the whole "magging" thing.
Here is a counterfactual Tempus history
>Magni collabs with Mori>Vesper collabs with Bae in that "Boomer vs. Zoomer" streamboth sucessful collabs. Then
>Vesper organizes the first DnD collab in the branch and it's so sucessful even Fubuki was watchingTHEN, here is where history changes
>Vesper takes VERY SERIOUSLY his role as GM and runs a very successful campaign, building up the branch creed as a bunch of lovable dorky lads>They build up in that synergy and continue with their group gaming sessions: EDF, horror games, FPS and the likes>At the same time each takes very good care of their female fanbase in their zatsus, member streams and "specialty" streamThey could have done that and at very least not fail as miserably as they did now.
As it is, they're very close to fall below both a very debilitated Luxiem and Noctyx too, with the bottom ones already under or close to 1k and trailing even fucking Doppio Whatshisname.
Long story short: the problem is not just that Magni and Vesper and Axel and Regis made their identity to be this or that girl accessory, it is that they didn't do anything else to foster either individual strength or even collective
