If they *did* do the NSFW paywall, it would be the most pig move they would do and it'll be even clearer they're desperate for income or want to suck off an investor for it.
If they sell it, well, it would be a very randomized and wild card move, because it'd mean the buyer would either want to make another CAI look-alike and release it to the public and... well we'd hit a loop if they turn out to be cowards and apply filters, or it means the buyer wants to see how AI evolves with humans and either make an open-source chatbot model for the public or hell, even start working with tech-savvy people to make real wAIfus come to life like androids and stuff, but that might be wishful thinking, even then the chances aren't completely zero despite being low. And to add more to the "no-brainer" move.
They already have no brains, don't expect them to even think about doing such things. Also, don't forget about the matrix friends, they're the ones brainstorming about making a new chatbot model.
