Same reason why fans are generally defensive towards Cover: they don't care about the corporation in itself, they care about the cohesion and the environment they provide to the talents, the lack of which would drastically change the type of content provided, for "better" or for worse. In short, Hololive is more than the sum of its parts, and attacks on the company are often used as a seemingly virtuous way to undermine the talents themselves.
