Keep in mind that while she is technically kouhai to many members of Hololive, she's been vtubing for as long as Roboco, and was several years deep in voice work even before that. She obviously doesn't try to leverage that for seniority, but you can tell that there is a good amount of respect for it from others.
And if makes you feel better, off the top of my head, Miko, Matsuri, Haachama, Fubuki, Flare, Pekora, Towa, and Luna have all spoken very highly and lovingly of Polka within the past year alone. And of course that isn't even touching EN/HoloX at all, or any I may have forgotten.
