They had more time which would make it easier, but they started from a point of lower momentum of vtubers in general while for most of them you can argue the JP market is more saturated too, both of which makes it harder. What you're doing is thinking of several reasons why she should compare her growth to the one of JP, when purely from an empirical standpoint, it isn't.
