I think wanting to protect those who are in need and help those who are in pain is an instinctive reaction of men. This instinct kicks in especially, when the suffering person in question is someone important to you. Intentional gfe usually involves the chuba giving you some sort of service, usually emotional, however, unintentional gfe is basically just them being silly, unlucky or in pain. Because if you have any test in your body, these are the moments when you want to be by her side the most, you want to support her, point her in the right direction, or shield her from any harm and be there as someone she can safely rely on even in her weakest.
