Might be old-fashion logic I carry from irl street performers and such, but I really only get doing it towards the end of stream or when the vtuber accomplishes some feat. I'm sure you could come up with some reasonable explanations to donate early that I can understand, but still I feel like this logic's standard. Especially for a challenge stream. But Pippa just got flooded with dough and broke through her rewards list just for the thought of a 24hr stream...
and for the feet. I can't even really blame her, either. Not totally anyway, since it at least seemed she really wanted to go all the way. I mean putting feet asmr on the table was a cheap shot at getting supas unrelated to playing Civ for 24hrs, but the paying Capipis really took the wind out of the sails by capitulating so quickly. The odds were already not in Pippa's favor due to her current health, being up for a while before stream, and eating pasta of all things at the end. Killing all the financial incentive was the final nail in the coffin before the other nails were even struck all the way in.
Hopefully next time, it'll be more of a fun uphill battle. Pippa will be more prepared and the Capipis will contain themselves a little more. Some would argue that's a miracle scenario, though. Either way, the the next attempt shouldn't be for a while. If Pippa has some heart issues, even minor ones, bad sleep does NOT help.
