>>69699442I would guess for the same reason Pomu said she prefers watching female vtuber, for a lot of people they just want to watch cute girls interacting with each other. Pomu was in Nijisanji so it was obviously not possible to have that but you can still enjoy her solo streams.
Now speaking for myself, I don't like collabs in general, they often feel like lazy content and I get this really strong feeling that I could be hanging with my friends and experiencing a similar thing. So I avoided collabs in general and I think most of the NijiEN guys are really annoying, especially Luca. I like Vanta and Doppio but even then I prefer to watch their solo streams.
