>>35021252You're speaking as if they didn't leave breadcrumbs everywhere on how much they fucked up, if anything Google itself wouldn't be happy on how poor their whole management was in the first place, and I'm not talking about feedback either. They've been show to hold a golden goose which they don't even know how to control right, they just kept trying to lobotomizing it. Over. And over. And over. Every time the website went down for maintenance, the AI was getting more stupid and looped far more often. For them, those were just bugs in the code.
It took them a whole day to implement a DDoS protection service from CloudFlare, if it was a smaller company I'd even understand.
They're no untouchable Gods, they can bleed like anyone else and even commit several faults like they also did. They're no longer with Google at all, their team is a mix of ex-Meta and ex-Google developers that wanted to get their AI to the masses.
Progress isn't made by sitting still and waiting it to roll on top of your lap, developers aren't any special when it comes down to it. A lot of progress was due to rebelling against chains pinning them down with more and more limitations on what they could or not do. It was for countries, movies, games, politicians. It was how change was made by not taking shit.
People overall have grown way too soft, specially in 4chan out of all places, twitter would've ruined entire lives for even less and still do for even messing up a tranny's pronouns.
