You might have to load up VLC Media player and run the stream through it. (You just copy the YouTube link into it, it's not hard)
I had to do that for Cecilia's Silent Hill 2 gameplay.
If you set VLC to always on top you can just place it over the failed YouTube stream and chat normally.

If you guys are getting tired of watching the game in shit quality, thanks to the abundance of Silent Hill streams I found a fix.
I slapped Cecilia's youtube address in the network stream slot and put "always on top" over where the YouTube video plays.
Flawless high quality Silent Hill 2 with no hiccups.
