for example some girls i've dealt with expect you to spend time with them 24/7 or be texting them all day long if you're dating and i just can't do that. at least if you're friends you can both live your own lives and just talk when you want to.
also I'm very much anti-social media and most women get really shitty about posting pictures of you online even if you ask them not to.
