There are frequent melties in /baubau/ because some ruffians have the idea that FWMC are more vulnerable and open when they speak japanese, which is at least somewhat true because they're noticeably less censored or even less shy when they do. They especially use japanese to talk about lewd topics and women usually don't speak face-to-face with men about those things unless they feel safe with him. I'm not even that into GFE and even I feel some awkward distance.
It's a tough situation because it's a vicious cycle. FWMC feel distant compared to other Holos (Especially next to PARASOCIAL FUCKS like Nerissa and naturally charismatic streamers like Cecilia and Gigi) but who do we take to task for that? Fuwamoco? A staff member? Cover? Investors? Antis? Ruffians now have a reputation for being overly-clingy retards because they talk and act like they can pressure FWMC into being closer to them somehow, but how would they even begin to fix that? A situation like this where an idol has more of an addictive, unsatisfactory quality is more beneficial for Cover as long as it fuels desperate ruffians with SC cash, why would they ever help ruffians change or satiate them?
I stopped watching their usual streams when I got tired of that restless feeling and realized that they probably aren't going to evolve from this. Now I only watch their performances and karaoke streams, they still feel very idol-like in those. I'll probably give them another shot once they graduate and go indie.
