I wrote the whole plot where you get on the cargo ship, meet Botan, she's chained up and full of bruises and doesn't talk, rain storm hits, ship capsizes, you help her escape and the two of you go to an emergency boat, where the actual prompt would begin. I had almost 3K words of this. I should've just skipped the details and started (You) on the boat already with her, but now I've got no motivation to continue it.
