Buka existed already beforehand as well and fan creations were frequent too so it did feel like it was an affectionate gesture to create the buka plush true to his original design. I just think that meme designs need to be actually established before turning them into goods or elsewise it just feels like low effort to me. Eitherway if actual bukas are happy to buy it then that's great for them.
