Sometimes we're really stupid as human beings and can't see what we have before it's too late. Life always gives us the opportunity to learn easy but we let ourselves learn the hard way, and it's effective but cruel. I'm glad at least something good came of it, bud. I hope one day you find at least one or two brothers who care again, it's all you REALLY need.
Now I'm just upset that it's possible I'll miss my Japan trip because my passport is backed up, right as my dad's best friend dies and I realize my dad is hitting retirement age... Supposed to meet some online friends for the first time, and others for the second time. They're my brothers from my late childhood and teenage years, and a few more we met along the way. They're all great people. The dream is to live with them as neighbors but that'll probably only happen if we end up doing our start-up plans. Even still I won't let the sorrow win. Tired of it, I want to be happy and fulfilled, even if I have to grind my ass off to do it.
