>>42223703Same for me, I was just never properly exposed to it. Anime led me to explore Japanese music on the whole and my parents would pretty much listened to classic rock exclusively. So pop punk of the early 00s really was never on my radar and I just never got into it with the rise of vocaloid and the stuff coming from NicoNico in late 00s as that really took up a lot of my musical interest for the rest of the edgy period of teenhood.
