People always talk about wanting to die once they became human vegetables or once they grow old, or even that they just want a quick painless one through a shotgun blast to the brain or by throwing themselves off a cliff/building head first into the pavement. But I've always wondered about the option of having a slow painless death. What an absolutely enlightening feeling must be to just feel the cold grasp of death gripping your body and soul. I imagine a great amount of newfound spiritualism would flow over your soul and mind as you come to terms that you will soon stop existing in this material world. Could you perhaps start feeling the world in the afterlife? Fellow lost spirits wandering around? Or is it a void of nothingness where you start to notice your dwindling existence fade away? I would love to feel this, but alas, I do not know of a way to reach said unhurried painless personal extinction.
