>>77060507It's not, but it's still fun. As a lore autist, they fucked everything up when they made the 3 Forerunner books. They were good books, but humans were originally HEAVILY hinted at being the direct descendants of the Forerunners in the pre-343 lore. Every game and book were going in this direction until 343 took over.
I did really like the relationship between Chief and Cortana in Halo 4 though. Probably the only real redeeming quality of that game...
