I will certainly be discussing this with my priest after service tomorrow. So far as I can tell, there is absolutely no way what happened to my old man was disconnected to what I did with the icon - he went into afib at literally the EXACT moment he laid down to go back to bed, after I was done texting him to tell him what happened. Probably not more than two seconds after we wished each other goodnight. For his part, he tells me he *knows* it was that demon trying to get back at me: he could "feel it coming over him" as he fell into an irregular rhythm.
I have no doubts, from the timing to the certainty and conviction in his voice. And he says he is honored. Honestly, I'm proud of him.
