We were given a small budget to work with and some folding tables for a month or so. The girlscouts brought a propane griddle and some absolutely horrible pancake mix and attempted to hock "pancakes in a cup" outside the ralphs on Olympic, spectacular failure. My troop bought a ton of flavored popcorns from costco and repackaged it in waxpaper bags with a little american flag sticker and sold outside trader joes at 400% markup. We ran out of supplies in barely over 4 hours while the girls hadn't even made 10 sales.
