Like it or not /hlgg/ feeds off of events of any kind. Huge events, big news, new gens, or huge yabs/nothingburgers. Good OR bad news contributes to /hlgg/'s growth.
The only "event" recently was HomoEN which just pulled people away to another general. There hasn't even a big minecraft event/festival lately. We unironically need EN3.
