TLDR:
https://youtu.be/28GLa9T2CtIThey are a very neutral sounding reference type of cans. You can go crazy with the EQ but I like it "boring" as the artist intended. With a high quality audio source I was able to pick up new definition in old music I thought I knew very well. For youtube quality audio, you take what you can get. The biggest risk factor I would say is they make identifying flaws in an ASMR recording environment more apparent if you are the type to get bothered by that. I've had to lower the volume to mask some details for a few chuubas. You learn who leaves their air conditioning running.
I used them to listen to ASMR from hardcore ear tongue sex and macaroni to ear picks and old standbys from flesh women doing ASMR a decade ago. They're good. The bluetooth is good. Use the dongle for better quality and lower latency though. Wired is of course an option over type C. The app is simple and necessary for a first time set up. It doesn't force an account on you.
I found them comfortable and lightweight but the earpads are not especially large or deep. Cheers big ears. You will want to become an on back sleeper. They come with smart detection for turning themselves off when not on your head if you think they will slip off of you while asleep. The ANC is very good. Turn off anti-wind though. With that enabled the noise cancelling is much worse.
