Management either does not know, does not care, or are being forced by their higher-ups to ignore, why the fans of Niji's vtubers follow the vtubers when they leave the company, instead of following different Niji vtubers while pretending that the ones who left Niji never joined in the first place. The livers still in the company are contractually obligated to pretend to be unaware of the concept of being able to leave Niji and still have a streaming career - Reimu in particular cannot maintain that pretense, because she follows Mint on her Niji twitter account.
