>>79073248No, because each area you visit is kind of like its own level. Just because you have to explore everywhere on foot without "loading" into a level doesn't mean the world is open world. In the same sense, a JRPG overworld wouldn't be considered an open world either. Dark Souls 1 has interconnected levels that give you some alternative paths to explore and do things in a different order if you so choose. Demon's Souls and Dark Souls 2 are both like this as well. The games let you choose what order to explore things, but are not open world either.
