>>37399520You have to remember that the Yen is worthless right now. As far as Cover goes the only benefit you get is the toy puppet on screen and the ability to talk with Japanese people in a professional setting.
The downside is you get their pitiful currency and have to listen to managers in their ivory tower talking about stuff they have no experience in. (Cover has a lot of new hires.)
I don't really see a benefit to this besides networking with the Japanese but still I press on.
I just have to be really careful every time a manager sasses me. I'm sure whatever they've been buttmad about in the past pales to what I can do in an off hand remark with no forethought.
