Sniping done, I get where he's coming from. We've had a good number of discussions /here/ about sololive prospects and the album sales question is always top of mind. The current performing album sales are
>Subaru (2025)>Koyori (2025)>IRyS (x2)>LuiBut Cover moves with deliberation and certainly doesn't rush for a production of a sololive's caliber, so they were probably sorting out 2025 sololives at the end of last year. Back then, Koyori and Subaru hadn't released their albums yet, and IRyS is EN so she was obviously right out
Lui would indeed have been the best and arguably only serious candidate for an EOY 2025 sololive
Subaru and Koyori are almost guaranteed to have theirs next year. Whether Mori's sololive has convinced Cover that IRyS and Bae should too is much less certain but they might have a chance with any luck
