>>106063031I feel like there's a big culture difference, and a lot of the benefits they could potentially get from Twitch are negated by the nature of Hololive being a Japanese company. They still can't watch copyrighted videos or listen to copyrighted music, and their fans have a culture of not liking it regardless. And I'm not sure if they can use 3rd party emote extensions like 7TV which are very popular on Twitch. YouTube chats also feel like their own individual space for a streamer with only their own emotes, but with Twitch someone watching FuwaMoco could constantly post emotes from random flesh streamers or controversial vtubers. Anyone who watches Twitch vtubers is used to this, but will the average Holofan like emotes of streamers they don't even know in their oshi's chat?
