Hi, casual mahjong will be starting now! Anyone can play, even if you aren't signed up for the tournament on Saturday and Sunday. Playing is simple:
>open up Mahjong Soul
>click on tournament match
>click on tournament lobby
>enter tournament id "227157"
>click "prepare for match" when ready
Once there are enough people for a room you'll enter a game with said people. There will be prizes (30 million nasfaq moneys) for the highest scorer/highest average placement (min. 4 games) and any yakumans (post' em).
The plan for Saturday is to have everyone play 4 games, matches will start at 15:00 UTC and go until everyone has played their matches. Don't worry if you can't make it exactly at the start, matches will be going for a while you can come in like an hour or two after, we will try our best to accommodate you. There will be two brackets for different skill levels, if you feel misplaced feel free to contact any of us and we will correct it.
For Sunday we will take the scores from Saturday's games and split the brackets into smaller brackets of 4-6 people and people will play 4 (perhaps more if everyone in the bracket is willing) more games to determine the winner. The starting times will differ a bit depending on who's in which bracket.
