>>62254736It's because it's hard to access the european market, I'm not sure how much the EU affects it (although I don't think its too much) I bet Cover kept expecting either one of its EN talents to grab a large european audience like Kiara or just isn't bothering with it at the moment because they want to expand into neighbouring markets like the Pacific coast of the US and indonesia are. They do have a few "market researchers" assigned to Korea, so I can imagine that Cover will make a Korean branch one day, and I can imagine that they'll make a FR branch too, just not at the moment, because they don't know the market and are spooked, ever since the Holocaust they are a bit scared as you can understand.
Also, there's a bunch of weeaboo communities that disapprove of vtubers in general and are generally just kind of rude to vtubers, so without noteable french vtubers I can imagine it scares Cover. NTA by the way, I'm no /pol/fag, just a bit drunk, I'll also admit I'm not european, so I can't tell about the intricacies of the French market, I do think I can give a bit of an idea on why expanding on european markets can be a bit scary
