I don't care about Vshojo, but as the biggest game in town for western vtubers, I'm happy they're acknowledging indie talents, even if it's only for selfish reasons. It gives our girls something to aspire to other than joining a soulless jap or western corpo - and I don't mean joining Vshojo, I mean basking in their reflected fame and thus gaining independent recognition. It's been an amazing two years watching small indies we've supported grow so successful.
