This is probably final Update i will post on this
>>36950932 unless i find a solution to fix this. I just mention this in anyone that records stuff cares about this, in my case this is just my archive autism about saving as much as possible of a vod (I mean i did save fucking 15 second vods in my archive because of that).
So was updating the new nyan vods for my archive and while checking my recordings just now i noticed what you see it the attached screenshot on the indie vtuber im recording but to get to to the point, Basically these parts (see screenshot for the full thing):
>[download][..e relaxing probably.mp4] Written 57.7 MB (2m54s @ 325.9 KB/s) >[stream.hls][info:lit] Filtering out segments and pausing stream output>[stream.hls][info:lit] Resuming stream outputseems to be the mid roll ads being recorded (or rather skipped due to how the twitch stream recorder works) since twitch updated how ads work.
I already noticed something was off with the live of one of my nyan vods missing like 40 seconds of content missing (i did cut out whatever i was missing at the beginning of the vod due to the preroll ads but that only covered 50 sec of the vod and my final vod was still missing 40 sec in the final file meaning the 40 missing secs are most likely missing due to mid roll ads being recorded or rather skipping in my case due to the Twitch stream recorder skipping ads.
So the solution would be to feed cookies (as you dont get any ads if you are subscribed to a channel) to the twitch stream recorder script which i have problems to get working unlike with streamlink which has an easy solution as i mentioned in this post
>>36959315.
Streamlink seems to skip these ads from the few tests i did but the problem is streamlinks ends after one stream (example:
https://files.catbox.moe/58gkxu.PNG) while the Twitch stream recorder starts up again after the last stream ended (basically running 24/7) which basically what you what if you want to record streams 24/7 but due to there seemingly not being an easy way to feed cookies to the twitch stream recording script im kinda hit a road block with finding a fix for this as i tried everything but i couldnt find a way to feed my cookies with the nyan sub to twitch stream recorder for now.
This isnt really a big deal at most you will miss 30 seconds to a minute per vod in the live recording per hour due twitch changing on how ads work which in the end isnt that big of a deal. I hate to have missing parts in my recordings even if its just tiny parts but i guess i might just say fuck it and throw the recordings with these tiny missing parts into my archive if they happen.
