>>39638688I forgot i wanted to post this here, i already posted an update on this in /lig/ as i know some people there also record streams, but i can now confirm that this 100% works the last nyan collab vod with aethel only 15 seconds missing compared to the twitch vod which is due to the 15 second intervals the script checks if a channel is live. I dont know if there is even any recording software that can block ads anyone without using cookies since they started embedding ads but this method using a sub or Twitch turbo (which is what im using as i record several vtubers) works.
This should also work for sub only streams, i still need to test this though but check the archival guide for twitch stream recorded i added everything thats needed on there on dec 26:

I just need a channel that does sub only streams to go live but these rarely happen. I dont care which channel though any channel works to test that stays up for an hour. I dont care about "wasting" these 5 bucks on a sub or so to make sure this and the twitch stream recorder script i linked in my guide on google docs works on sub only streams.
