The truth is women vtubers eventually grow envious of their own avatar. They start to view their avatar is being who's popular, not them (the actual flesh and blood woman behind the avatar). They start to disassociate from their own avatars, hate them even. "It should be ME they love, not the avatar!" they think to themselves. So they intentionally ugilify their avatars out of spite.
This is also why so many popular female vtubers have been going IRL. They want to be popular for real faces, not the anime girl they hide behind. And when they notice they get more viewers and money when they show their faces, or even just a bit of of their bodies? They just dump the avatar altogether and go full-blown fleshstreamer, only occasionally vtubing as a formality. This is entirely women behavior and you would only understand if you actually understood how women think.
