>>67117805, since VTubing is inherently parasocial (and it works!). So, VTubers might as well go full throttle within their entertainer skills. It's just how they manage those parasocial relationships so it won't backfire on them. VTubers are already stressed enough, so minimizing the stress source can be one way to do it.
Side note: I see some of the tweets of local VTubers mocking toxic comments as one of many ways to cope with the stress because I can see that those toxic comments hurt their ego.
