Regular exercise, eating healthier, a consistent sleep schedule, getting out in nature, getting some sun (or at least D3 vitamins), and I know this is controversial, but making a schedule daily every night before bed for the next day so it doesn't get to the point where I'm idle and the depression has a chance to creep in and become crippling. Even if I felt completely drained and like a robot, I did it anyway. I did it until I felt better. The hardest part of dealing with the cold and draining tar of depression is getting up and taking the first step. Having a plan and knowing what you're going to do, and being consistent is the most important step.
Also, getting into reading philosophy helped with my mental well-being immensely, especially with my anxiety and lack of confidence.
