This past week in particular has been so good and so filled with Mono. She absolutely wasn't kidding when she said that sometimes she really does spend an entire day with us, from good mononing to her final thoughts tweets in bed. I personally flit between several vtubers in the /corpo/ sphere but Mono was by far the one I watched the most this week.
The zatsus this week have been really on point and super relatable, and she's really opened up to us about so many aspects of herself. She's so passionate about art and I'm glad she's comfortable enough to spend hours basically sharing her whole philosophy on it with us.
Retro games aren't for everyone and to be completely honest, her skill at them is a little limited. But you can absolutely tell how much she loves these older games not just for the gameplay, but for the aesthetics, their creators, and their place in history. A lot of vtubers just play a game and they're done with it, but I love Mono's autism and passion for some of these games.
All of that, and I haven't even mentioned the lewd stuff or her ASMR. That stuff is honestly just the icing on top. I'm very happy that it doesn't define her, but also that she enjoys it when it happens and she's not afraid to hold back. Her little teases in the middle of normal streams are fun too, without being overbearing or overplayed. The last bit of her member's stream this week ended up being so intimate, even if it was short and unplanned.
I missed out on most of yesterday's watchalong but while I was there, it was a blast. I love whenever Mono shares stuff with us that she loves, and the first few minutes of the movie were so relatable for her and everyone else who was there. Her cytube sessions are always super chill and again are part of why it can be so easy to spend almost an entire day with her.
