CounterStrike is mainly catered towards an older and more autistic audience. The audience is known for being very patient and relentless when seeking out a singular goal. One might compare them to bacteria in that sense.
Contrast that to the Apex, Overwatch and Valorant crowd. They prefer a relatively non-stop type of play where you talk more, play more, chill more and focus on having fun. They're not too concerned with the game unless it's for the following reasons: they're a NEET, they're social circle is tied to the rank (higher rank gets you more people who want to hook up with you online), they really wanted to rank up in that specific moment, or all three.
Valorant/Apex/Overwatch crowds tend to make more lascivious jokes not disimilar to the League of Legends/OSU/Discord crowd. That crowd is majority composed of the Canadian and North American audience. CounterStrike jokes focus on racism, genocide and nationalism due to the prevalence of Latin American, European, Asian, and a small portion of SEA users.
As such Valorant, Apex, and Overwatch are the more well-suited games for the average North American/Canadian audience.
