Don't get me wrong there are a lot more bad apples in niji and the company itself is shit, but those shouldn't impact (your) views on background nijis. Most of vt can't speak jp and rely on clips which most of these members don't have or are few in number. Beyons unicorns, I think the "niji=bad" is the preventing them from even giving them a chance.
