Yeah, but at least it's a beginning, just using the BFG up close will lead to more efficient shots. More complex Doom terminology will help in no way until she gets more used to the game.

That doesn't help as well because even with the SSG she shoots then looks away to move. She just has to get better to use the BFG well. When her movement gets better then it is worth mentioning, but will she be playing enough Doom for it to matter?

It's weird but that's how it works. The BFG ball itself does a bit of damage but nowhere near the amount the tracers do so you can shoot it at a wall or something then move in front of the enemies, you can 2shot a Cyberdemon or oneshot a Spidermastermind this way

when you get the super shotgun, the normal shotgun becomes a weapon for sniping far enemies. Basically:
