I remember sitting there just listening to people get mad, get excited, saying things like, "Oh my god! That was sick!" or "Fuck you! How did you get that?!" Along with a symphony of TV's blaring the sounds of grenades and people dying. Playing meme game modes like Fat Kid and Smear the Queer or Bumper Cars in Reach. No women, no bullshit, just a bunch of dudes hanging out gaming. I realized it was the first time I was genuinely having fun gaming in probably over a decade. Also, for not having touched a controller in fucking forever, I still got it baby.
