>>108955506Hank got Hank killed. He was also explicitly operating outside of the law and would have been happy if Jesse died while using him as bait. Jesse was a rat fuck (on multiple occasions) who, when everything was going good, greedily complained they weren't making enough money (which EVIL GREEDY LITERAL SATAN MR. WHITE told him was ridiculous and to chill the fuck out) so his solution was to steal from his employer and SELL TO RECOVERING ADDICTS TRYING TO FIX THEIR LIVES. This is AFTER he played a role in causing his former girlfriend to backslide on sobriety and die from an overdose. As if it wasn't enough that he gets away with this, he then demands to get revenge on Gus' employees for beef from 8 months ago he never followed up on.
everyone seems to forget that Jesse is a fucking massive piece of shit who does more unprompted, unjustified evil shit than Walt ever did. Jesse is just out there "being the bad guy" for the sake of it, Walt may operate on pride but most of his actions in the series are a forced hand backed into a corner.
How about the time he manipulated some poor fat naive Indian girl into trading gasoline (and cigarettes) for meth instead of just fucking paying for it? Not only risking getting caught (which endangers Walter his former partner and others) but lying to her telling her meth being bad is just media propaganda.
Don't even get me started on wholesome grandpa Mike Chungus.
But there's this whole fucking retroactive in-hindsight demonization of Walter that even carries over to how he's portrayed in a flashback/forward scene in Better Call Saul where he's being an obnoxious insufferable science man redditor with Jimmy about the time machine. Totally retcon character assassination shit, like all the women and basedmales think he's evil now so let's make him a total bummer "um ackshully" fag. Walter frequently had an often poetic mind/could engage in hypotheticals/flowery language, he wasn't a fucking stick in the mud redditor.
